Ingredients
- 3 ounces orzo (84 g)
- 3 cups broccoli florets (frozen) (213 g)
- ¼ red onion
- 1 clove garlic (5 g)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
- 3 ounces 99% lean ground turkey breast (84 g)
- 3 teaspoons Italian seasoning (6 g)
- ½ ounce raisins (14 g)
- 1 ½ ounce cottage cheese, 4% milkfat (42 g)
Preparing this recipe
- Cook the orzo according to the package instructions.
- Meanwhile, put the broccoli florets in a pot with water and cook until tender-crisp in 4 minutes.
- Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic clove.
- Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic for 2 minutes. Then add the turkey mince along with the Italian herbs and cook until the mince is done, about 4 minutes.
- Stir the drained orzo and the raisins into the mince and cook for another 2 minutes. Finally, stir the broccoli florets into the dish and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the orzo dish on a (deep) plate and top with cottage cheese.

1. Sprinkle some fresh basil over the orzo.
2. For a completely different flavor, replace the raisins with some sun-dried tomatoes or olives.
