Ingredients
- 1 pita, whole wheat
- 1 ½ tablespoon olive oil (23 ml)
- ½ avocado
- 2 tablespoons yogurt, nonfat (30 ml)
- 1 clove garlic (5 g)
- 1 squeeze lemon juice (5 ml)
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard (7 g)
- 1 tablespoon water (15 ml)
- 5 cherry tomatoes
- 5 ounces mixed salad (140 g)
Preparing this recipe
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Cut the pita into triangles or strips. Place them on a baking sheet, drizzle with half the oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake for 8–10 minutes until crispy, then let cool.
- In a blender, combine the avocado, yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, mustard and the remaining oil. Blend until smooth. Add a little water to thin and season with salt and pepper.
- Halve the cherry tomatoes. In a bowl, mix them with the lettuce. Add the dressing and toss well.
- Top with cheese and pita chips. Serve immediately.
