Ingredients
- 3 ounces penne, whole wheat (84 g)
- 1 clove garlic (5 g)
- ¼ onion
- 10 ounces spinach (280 g)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
- 1 ½ teaspoon oregano, dried (3 g)
- 1 pinch chili powder (1 g)
- ½ cube vegetable bouillon
- 2 ½ fluid ounce water (75 ml)
Preparing this recipe
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Mince the garlic, chop the onion and roughly chop the spinach.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and onion and cook until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add the oregano and chili powder and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- Add the chopped spinach and stir until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Add the bouillon cube and water and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the pasta to the pan and mix well to coat it with the spinach and garlic. Serve warm.
