Ingredients

  • 1 tuna steak
  • 3 ounces spaghetti, whole wheat (84 g)
  • ¼ chili pepper
  • 1 clove garlic (5 g)
  • 3 cups broccoli florets (frozen) (213 g)
  • 1 ½ tablespoon olive oil (23 ml)

Preparing this recipe

  1. Thaw the tuna in a colander.
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Reserve the cooking water when draining.
  3. Remove the seeds and membranes from the chili pepper and cut into very small rings. Press the garlic.
  4. Cook the broccoli florets for 5 minutes until al dente.
  5. Brush the tuna with half of the olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Heat the grill pan and cook the tuna until browned and still slightly pink inside. Slice the tuna into thin, diagonal slices.
  6. Heat the rest of the oil in a sauté pan and gently fry the garlic and chili pepper for 2 minutes. Stir the spaghetti into the chili pepper and season with some salt. Add some of the reserved cooking water if the spaghetti is too dry.
  7. Serve the spaghetti with the tuna steak and broccoli.
