Ingredients
- 2 slices bread, whole wheat
- 1 apple
- ½ tablespoon yellow mustard (10 g)
- 1 teaspoon honey (7 g)
- 1 ounce cheddar cheese, shredded (28 g)
Preparing this recipe
- Toast the slices of bread in a toaster or on a skillet until they are lightly golden.
- Thinly slice the apple into small, bite-sized pieces.
- In a small bowl, mix together the mustard and honey. Spread the honey mustard mixture on one slice of the toasted bread.
- Layer the sliced apple on top of the honey mustard. Sprinkle the cheese on top of the apple slices.
- Cover the sandwich with the other slice of toasted bread. Serve and enjoy!
