Ingredients

  • 3 ounces penne, whole wheat (84 g)
  • ¼ red onion
  • 6 cherry tomatoes
  • ½ avocado
  • 3 ounces grilled chicken strips (84 g)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (2 g)

Preparing this recipe

  1. Cook the penne according to the package instructions.
  2. Meanwhile, chop the onion, halve the cherry tomatoes and dice the avocado. Cut the chicken strips into smaller pieces if needed.
  3. Drain the pasta under cold water and let it drain well.
  4. Mix the penne with the onion, cherry tomatoes, avocado and chicken strips.
  5. Drizzle the oil over the pasta salad and season with Italian herbs.
