Ingredients
- 3 ounces penne, whole wheat (84 g)
- ¼ red onion
- 6 cherry tomatoes
- ½ avocado
- 3 ounces grilled chicken strips (84 g)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (2 g)
Preparing this recipe
- Cook the penne according to the package instructions.
- Meanwhile, chop the onion, halve the cherry tomatoes and dice the avocado. Cut the chicken strips into smaller pieces if needed.
- Drain the pasta under cold water and let it drain well.
- Mix the penne with the onion, cherry tomatoes, avocado and chicken strips.
- Drizzle the oil over the pasta salad and season with Italian herbs.
