Ingredients
- 3 ounces chicken breast (84 g)
- ¼ onion
- 1 clove garlic (5 g)
- 2 ounces spaghetti, whole wheat (56 g)
- ½ tablespoon olive oil (8 ml)
- 9 ounces spinach (252 g)
- 4 fluid ounces water (120 ml)
- ½ cube vegetable bouillon
- 1 squeeze lemon juice (5 ml)
- 1 ounce cheddar cheese, shredded (28 g)
Preparing this recipe
- Cut the chicken breast into pieces and finely chop the onion and garlic.
- Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
- Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken, season with salt and pepper and cook it for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- Add the onion and garlic to the same skillet. Sauté for about 3 minutes.
- Then add the pasta, chicken and spinach to the skillet. Add the water, bouillon cube and lemon juice. Stir well.
- Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Serve the dish on a plate or in a bowl and sprinkle with cheese.
