Ingredients
- 3 ounces penne, whole wheat (84 g)
- 7 ounces kale (frozen) (196 g)
- 3 ounces chicken breast (84 g)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
- 1 ounce mixed nuts, unsalted (28 g)
- 3 tablespoons cream cheese, reduced fat (45 ml)
Preparing this recipe
- Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
- Cook the kale until tender according to the instructions on the package.
- Cut the chicken breast into pieces.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan and cook the chicken for 10 minutes.
- Toast the nuts in a dry frying pan until golden brown and chop them coarsely.
- Mix the kale with the cream cheese, pepper and salt. Add the mixture to the chicken and heat for another 5 minutes.
- Serve the pasta with the kale sauce and sprinkle the chopped nuts on top.
