Shrimp & avocado salad with spicy dressing

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces shrimp (frozen) (84 g)
  • ½ cucumber
  • 1 bell pepper
  • ½ avocado
  • ¼ red onion
  • 1 ½ tablespoon olive oil (23 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (ground spice) (2 g)
  • 1 pinch chili powder (1 g)
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (15 ml)
  • 1 handful mixed salad (30 g)

Preparing this recipe

  1. Allow the shrimp to thaw for a moment.
  2. Dice the cucumber and bell pepper. Slice the avocado. Cut the onion into half rings.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan and add the shrimp with half of the paprika powder and some chili powder. Cook the shrimp until done, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare a dressing with mayonnaise, the remaining paprika powder and some chili powder.
  5. In a bowl, arrange the lettuce, cucumber, bell pepper, avocado and onion. Place the shrimp on top. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve the salad with the dressing.
