Ingredients

  • 3 ounces penne, whole wheat (84 g)
  • ½ chili pepper
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 5 sun-dried tomatoes
  • 5 ounces tuna, in water (140 g)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)

Preparing this recipe

  1. Cook the pasta until al dente according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Finely chop the red chili pepper and cut the bell peppers into strips. Cut the sun-dried tomatoes in half.
  3. Drain the tuna in a colander and break it into chunks.
  4. Heat the oil in a frying pan and sauté the chili pepper and bell peppers gently for 5 minutes. Add the sun-dried tomatoes and sauté for 1 more minute. Add the pasta and tuna to the pepper mixture and toss together. Season with salt to taste if needed.
  5. Transfer the pasta to a bowl and enjoy it lukewarm.
