Ingredients
- ½ onion
- 1 bell pepper
- 3 tomatoes
- ½ tablespoon olive oil (8 ml)
- 3 ounces ground beef, plant-based (84 g)
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste (20 g)
- 1 ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning (3 g)
- 3 ounces spaghetti, whole wheat (84 g)
Preparing this recipe
- Peel and finely chop the onion. Dice the bell pepper into small cubes. Cut the tomatoes into pieces.
- Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion and bell pepper for 1 minute. Add the plant-based ground beef and heat this briefly.
- Stir in the tomato paste, Italian seasoning and tomato pieces. Let everything simmer gently for 10 minutes until it forms a sauce, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Meanwhile, prepare the spaghetti according to the instructions on the packaging.
- Serve the spaghetti with the plant-based ground beef sauce over it.
