Ingredients

  • ½ onion
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 3 tomatoes
  • ½ tablespoon olive oil (8 ml)
  • 3 ounces ground beef, plant-based (84 g)
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste (20 g)
  • 1 ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning (3 g)
  • 3 ounces spaghetti, whole wheat (84 g)

Preparing this recipe

  1. Peel and finely chop the onion. Dice the bell pepper into small cubes. Cut the tomatoes into pieces.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion and bell pepper for 1 minute. Add the plant-based ground beef and heat this briefly.
  3. Stir in the tomato paste, Italian seasoning and tomato pieces. Let everything simmer gently for 10 minutes until it forms a sauce, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare the spaghetti according to the instructions on the packaging.
  5. Serve the spaghetti with the plant-based ground beef sauce over it.
