Ingredients
- 3 ounces brown rice (84 g)
- 1 ½ cup green beans (frozen) (188 g)
- 1 clove garlic (5 g)
- 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce (5 ml)
- 3 ounces beef strips (84 g)
- 4 ounces mushrooms (112 g)
- ½ onion
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
Preparing this recipe
- Cook the brown rice following the packet's instructions.
- Prepare the green beans until tender-crisp as per the directions on the packaging.
- Press the garlic over a deep plate and mix in the Sriracha and beef strips. Let this marinate for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, slice the mushrooms and cut the onion into thin wedges.
- Rinse the green beans in a colander under cold running water and let drain well.
- Heat the oil in a wok and stir-fry the meat on high heat until nicely browned in about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the onion and mushrooms and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes. Finally, add the green beans and stir everything well to heat through. Season with pepper and salt.
- Serve the beef strips with the rice.
