Ingredients

  • 3 ounces brown rice (84 g)
  • 3 ounces chicken breast (84 g)
  • 1 zucchini
  • 4 ounces mushrooms (112 g)
  • 1 clove garlic (5 g)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (30 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (20 g)
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar (5 ml)

Preparing this recipe

  1. Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Cut the chicken breast into cubes, the zucchini into halved slices and the mushrooms into slices. Finely chop the garlic.
  3. Heat the oil in a wok. Add the chicken and cook for 4 minutes. Then add the zucchini, mushrooms and garlic and cook for another 4 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, honey and vinegar. Add this to the chicken, stir and cook for another minute.
  5. Serve the chicken with the rice. Season with pepper to taste if desired.
