Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread, whole wheat
  • 1 apple
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (15 ml)
  • 1 slice ham
  • 1 handful mixed salad (30 g)

Preparing this recipe

  1. Toast the bread until it's golden brown and crispy.
  2. Thinly slice the apple into rounds and set aside.
  3. Spread the mayonnaise on one slice of bread.
  4. Layer the ham on the same slice of bread with the mayonnaise, followed by the sliced apple and lettuce. Sprinkle with some salt and pepper.
  5. Top the sandwich with the other slice of bread and press down gently to secure the ingredients.
  6. Cut the sandwich in half and serve.
