Ingredients
- ¼ onion
- 1 clove garlic (5 g)
- 1 zucchini
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
- 3 ounces 96% lean ground beef (84 g)
- 3 ounces macaroni, whole wheat (84 g)
- 6 ounces diced tomatoes (168 g)
- 3 fluid ounces milk, 2% reduced fat (90 ml)
- ½ cube vegetable bouillon
- 7 fluid ounces water (210 ml)
- ½ teaspoon chili powder (1 g)
- 1 ounce cheddar cheese, shredded (28 g)
Preparing this recipe
- Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic. Cut the zucchini into cubes.
- Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic for 2 minutes. Add the ground beef and zucchini and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Then add the macaroni, diced tomatoes, milk, bouillon cube, water and chili powder. Stir well and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat and cover the pan with a lid. Let everything simmer for 10-12 minutes.
- Add the cheese and stir until it is melted and serve immediately.
