Ingredients

  • 1 tomato
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (15 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard (7 g)
  • 1 teaspoon honey (7 g)
  • 2 slices bread, whole wheat
  • 1 ounce cheddar cheese, shredded (28 g)
  • 2 slices turkey breast
  • 1 handful arugula (30 g)
  • 1 ounce carrot, shredded (28 g)

Preparing this recipe

  1. Slice the tomato into thin slices.
  2. Mix the mayonnaise, mustard and honey together in a bowl.
  3. Spread the honey-mustard mayonnaise on one slice of bread. Top it with the cheese, followed by the slices of turkey, tomato, arugula and shredded carrot. Season with pepper and salt.
  4. Place the other slice of bread on top and cut the sandwich in half. Serve on a plate.
