Ingredients
- 1 tomato
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (15 ml)
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard (7 g)
- 1 teaspoon honey (7 g)
- 2 slices bread, whole wheat
- 1 ounce cheddar cheese, shredded (28 g)
- 2 slices turkey breast
- 1 handful arugula (30 g)
- 1 ounce carrot, shredded (28 g)
Preparing this recipe
- Slice the tomato into thin slices.
- Mix the mayonnaise, mustard and honey together in a bowl.
- Spread the honey-mustard mayonnaise on one slice of bread. Top it with the cheese, followed by the slices of turkey, tomato, arugula and shredded carrot. Season with pepper and salt.
- Place the other slice of bread on top and cut the sandwich in half. Serve on a plate.
