Ingredients
- 3 ounces brown rice (84 g)
- 2 ounces garden peas (frozen) (56 g)
- 1 ounce corn (28 g)
- 1 carrot
- 1 scallion
- 1 clove garlic (5 g)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
- 3 ounces shrimp (frozen) (84 g)
- 1 teaspoon turmeric (2 g)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (15 ml)
Preparing this recipe
- Cook the rice according to the instructions on the packaging until done.
- Rinse the peas and corn in a colander and let them drain. Wash the carrot, slice it and cut the slices in half. Cut the scallion into rings and finely chop the garlic.
- Heat the oil in a wok and add the carrot. Stir-fry for about 4 minutes. Then add the shrimp and garlic and stir-fry for another 2 minutes. Add the peas, corn, scallion and turmeric to the pan and stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes.
- Drain the rice and add it to the wok along with the soy sauce. Mix everything well and season with pepper and salt.
- Serve the rice dish on a plate.
