Ingredients

  • 1 apple
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (15 ml)
  • 1 squeeze lemon juice (5 ml)
  • ½ tablespoon honey (10 g)
  • ¼ cup carrot, shredded (32 g)
  • 1 ounce raisins (28 g)
  • 1 tortilla wrap, whole wheat
  • 1 ounce cheddar cheese, shredded (28 g)

Preparing this recipe

  1. Wash the apple and cut it into thin strips.
  2. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise with some lemon juice and honey.
  3. Put the apple strips together with the carrot in a bowl and stir in the mayonnaise dressing along with the raisins. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Layer the wrap with cheese and the apple-carrot salad. Roll up the wrap, cut it in half and serve on a plate.
